my transformation :) 20 kgs down!
It’s pretty insane how much difference a year can make, and you don’t even notice till you look back. I’ve only recently (beginning of may) started making a really conscious effort to try and lose weight/get in shape. Today I became really discouraged with the lack of results, and it was only when I started going through old pictures of myself that I realized how much progress I’d actually made!
The first picture is my senior prom, May 2012. The second picture is me today, May 16, 2013. There’s probably about a 15-20 pound difference between the two pictures. In the grand scheme of what I’m trying to lose, that number seems insignificant, but today I’m celebrating the little things! When you get stuck and think you aren’t making any progress, take a step back and look how far you’ve come, you’ll be extremely impressed with yourself.
